I. Tow Company:
A. Consent Tows :
1. Drug test consent form
2. Proof of all drug tests (pre-employment, annual, random)
3. Tow operator’s license
4. Proof of Liability Insurance
5. Cab card
B. Private Property and Incident Management Tows:
1. Drug test consent form
2 Proof of all drug tests (pre-employment, annual, random)
3 Tow operator’s license
4 Proof of Liability Insurance
5 Cab card
6 10 Tow tickets and all records that are associated with these tickets for May 2011; 10 Tow tickets
and all records that are associated with these tickets for September 2012; and 10 Tow tickets and
all records that are associated with these tickets for June 2013
II. Tow Truck:
A. Documents to be inspected include:
1. Tow Operator’s license
2. Cab Card
3. Proof of Liability Insurance
B. Equipment to be inspected includes:
1. Legible manufacturer’s data plate or document from manufacturer stating the capacity of boom,
2. Winch in good condition (must not exceed capacity of boom or leak oil)
3. Hydraulic lines free of leaks and in good condition
4. Cables meeting manufacturer’s specifications and in good condition
** TDLR WILL NOT CHECK FOR THESE TOW TRUCK ITEMS (fire extinguishers, broom,
shovel, etc...) **
