Additional Detail Regarding the Tow Truck Inspection Round-Up in San Antonio, June 20thThe Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation respects business owners’ time greatly. So for your convenience, there will be tow truck and tow company inspections held on Wednesday, June 20, 2012 for San Antonio and surrounding areas.
For Tow Truck Inspections, please bring:
Tow Operator’s license
Cab Card
Proof of Liability Insurance
Equipment that will be inspected includes:
-- Legible manufacturer’s data plate for broom, winch or carry mechanism of document in truck from the manufacturer’s stating capacity of same
-- Winch in good condition (must not exceed capacity of boom or leak oil)
-- Hydraulic lines free of leaks and in good condition
-- Cables meeting manufacturer’s specifications and in good condition
Field Inspectors will also be available to perform tow company inspections. If you would like TDLR staff to also conduct an inspection of your tow company, the items you will need to bring to be inspected area.
Copies of all tow tickets for the months of April 2011 and May 2011 and April 2012 and May 2012

Drug Consent forms
