San Benito, TX - 

Carlos Garcia, 63, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 19, 2016, at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen.
He was born on November 28, 1952 to Efren and Maria Martinez Garcia. Carlos owned and operated
Garcia’s Towing Service & Recovery Co. in San Benito for over 40 years. 

He is preceded in death by a son, Tomas Garcia; his parents, Efren and Maria Garcia; and his brother, Jesus Reyes. 

Carlos is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Maria P. Garcia; his children, Alexander (Alex) Garcia (Jamaica),
Rey Garcia, Crystal Garcia, Cora Ruby Garcia, and Esmeralda P. Garcia; 2 grandchildren,
Amalia Garcia and Lucien Garcia; sisters, Maria L. Garcia and Linda M. Garcia; and several nephews and nieces. 

Visitation will begin on Friday, January 22, 2016, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. with a prayer of the
Holy Rosary at 7 p.m. 

Funeral mass will be held on Saturday, January, 23, 2016, at 10 a.m. at
St. Benedict’s Catholic Church in San Benito, Texas.
Interment will follow to Combes Cemetery.
